We went down to Chicago this weekend to meet up with our friends Paul and Alisa from Wisconsin.  We stayed at a hotel over in Shaumburg and had quite the interesting experience with that.  It seemed like nothing in the hotel room worked…the microwave, the dishwasher, the drain…  We had so many problems, in fact, that they took fifty dollars off our total bill and left us a bottle of wine while we were out…gee…thanks.

So because I am tired, I will just give a quick few highlights…

MAKING BIG BUBBLES!  At this really high end electronics store….we got some cool ideas for our downstairs family/theatre room.

SHOPPING!  The Woodfield Mall is so much fun.  Grant got a couple new shirts from Gap clearance, I got a few new shirts and possibly new favorite jeans from AE, and Chad…well Chad got spit up on in the middle of the mall soaking his shirt…hmm…

THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY! Cashew chicken, the most amazing salad, and pumpkin cheesecake.  Could life be any better?

FRIENDS!  Chatting for hours with two of my favorite people in the world.  We love you guys!

SECRETS!  Well, duh, can’t tell….

FIRSTS!  Even though Grant used to roll over all the time when he was little, he hasn’t since he’s gotten chubby.  But yesterday at the hotel, he rolled from his tummy to his back .  I think he was saying…enough of this tummy time already.  Just put me to bed.

Ha, ha, ha!! Look at Paul! I can’t believe he got that bubble to cover almost his entire body. It was a great weekend, we had a blast. We always really enjoy our visits. And Grant gets cuter and cuter.
