I have a love for photography. Over time, I am slowly improving my skills. I think my favorite thing was when I worked in the NICU and I got to practice my skills on the babies there (we gave pictures to the parents right after they were born). This helped me with getting good angles and taking my time to hope that I can catch them with their eyes open. Chad keeps telling me I should try to make some money off of this hobby, but I’m not sure that I’m quite there yet. After I posted pictures of my niece Jordan, though, I had a couple friends ask me take pictures of their new babies. The first to arrive was baby Kiera. Her momma, Bethany, and I met before we had our first children (actually right before we each found out we were pregnant). Although we don’t get to see each other nearly enough now that she moved over to Spring Lake, we love spending time together. Thursday night I went up to the hospital to visit with her. We wound up spending two and a half hours just talking. It was so nice to not be interrupted by toddlers:). Minus baby Kiera, it almost felt like a slumber party.
Here are some pictures I got of little Kiera:
Stay tuned for pictures of baby Kate later this week!
