It is settled.  The chicken DID come first.

We won "Most Creative Costume" at our church’s Trunk or Treat.   I’m pretty sure that it was the adorable egg costume Eric was wearing that sealed the victory for us.  Thank you to my friend Desiree for bring my idea to life (I never would have been able to make that cute of an egg costume on my own.)
