  • So I woke up at 5:30 this morning to rain beating against the side of the house and the wind blowing very hard.  I looked at the Weatherbug on the computer and saw that it was 53 degrees out.  When we got up to go to church, all the snow was gone, but it was starting to get colder.  Now at ten at night, the ground is completely covered with inches of snow and it is still coming.  I guess we just needed fresh snow for Christmas.

Grant is eating rice cereal now.  It seems to help him sleep better at night.  That makes everyone happy (well mommy at least!)

I love my husband.  He is so much fun and he really loves both me and our son. I think sometimes I forget to show him how I appreciate him and all he does for us.  So thank you honey and I love you!

My newest recipe.

  • Saute 2 tsp minced garlic with olive oil.

  • Cook 1.5 lbs of chicken

  • Add 1/2 c. of pine nuts and 1 jar pesto.

  • add 1 box cooked bowtie pasta

  • add whole milk to make sauce (approx 1 cup)

  • thicken with shredded 5 cheese italian blend (1/2 to 3/4 of bag)

  • Yes it really is that easy and that yummy!

  • Enjoy!

  • PS.  Thank you Hannah and Lou for coming for lunch yesterday…we had such a great time and gave me a chance to try a new recipe!!
